Leading with Wisdom and Integrity: Reflections from the AP Retreat in Galong

This week, APs from all schools in Catholic Education gathered in the peaceful surrounds of Galong for a deeply enriching retreat focused on the theme “Leading with Wisdom and Integrity.” Set against the tranquil backdrop of the St. Clement’s Retreat and Conference Centre, the gathering offered a sacred space for reflection, renewal, and connection.

The retreat invited participants to encounter the mystery of God through the lens of the transcendentals—Truth, Beauty, Goodness, and Unity. Each session was thoughtfully crafted to explore how these timeless values can shape and sustain leadership that is both spiritually grounded and courageously authentic.

Through contemplative prayer, rich theological reflection, and shared dialogue, attendees were encouraged to listen deeply—to God, to one another, and to the stirrings within. The transcendentals served not only as theological concepts but as living invitations to embody Christ-like leadership in our communities and ministries.

This retreat was a powerful reminder that leadership is not a solitary path, but a shared journey. In the stillness and in the conversations, I was moved by the sense of community that emerged—one rooted in trust, humility, and a shared desire to seek God together.

Parent Teacher Interviews

Parent/Teacher Interviews will be conducted in Week 9 & 10 this term for Years K-6. These interviews will be face to face interviews, will be held in the classroom and will be strictly 10 minutes only. 

The purpose of Parent/Teacher Interviews is for teachers to connect with families and discuss student progress and achievement in all areas of the curriculum. Parents/carers will also have the opportunity to clarify/ discuss specific questions and concerns in regard to student learning.
